The Blackboard is the Bar and Restaurant associated with the Beansheaf Hotel, Kirby Misperton and caters for both residents and non residents. We do reserve some tables for hotel guests but booking is strongly advisable, particularly at weekends and during holiday periods.

The Blackboard is open all day for food and drinks, so why not settle into a comfy sofa and while away a relaxing day.

The menu changes daily and is displayed on 3 giant blackboards in the bar and eating areas. The emphasis is on traditional home cooked British food at its very best. We only use the freshest local produce and pride ourselves in serving restaurant quality food in a relaxed setting at a fraction of the usual price.
