Payment For Services:
Payment method is usually on completion of an agreed service, at which time an invoice will be dispatched indicating the due by date. All payments for services must be received by the due by date. Where discounts are offered they depend on payment being received by us before or on the due by date. Payments received after the due by date may incur either a loss of discount or a booking fee. Fees are agreed in advance of services, we will provide written details of the service to be provided, we request written authorisation before proceeding with any service. Where domain names are registered these are registered in the name of our client and agreed with the client to be the responsibility of the client. Should you the client cancel a service that includes the registering of a domain name, you will still be responsible for the domain name registration fee. Where web space has been provided as part of a service that is cancelled, the web space is the responsibility of the client and agreed fees will be charged for. Written details of fees and services are usually provided by email. We will request that you the client confirm by email your agreement to the fees and services indicated. Invoices are dispatched containing a due by date, if you do not agree with the details contained on the invoice, please do not alter the invoice yourself, instead return the invoice to us with a note explaining your dispute. When a dispute notification is not received by us by the due by date you the client have agreed that you have accepted the details as correct and your satisfaction with the service or services we have provided. Payment for any service we provide is also indication of your satisfaction with the service or services provided. All billing will be invoiced directly from Nameline, Nameline is the trading name of David Roberts. The editor of this website.
Renewals
Payment for renewal of services is prompted by a proforma invoice. The proforma invoice system provides clients with notice that a service is due to expire. It also provides ample time for customers to decide on whether or not renewal is required. When payment is not received for the amount displayed on the proforma invoice and by the due by date, it indicates to us that the client no longer wishes to use the service provided and is happy for that service to expire at the end of the agreed period.
When payment is sent after the due by date, it may also require additional set up fees or a booking fee, or both, depending on which service or services need to be reinstated.
We cannot be responsible for the late payment of invoices and it is part of our commitment to provide a high quality service or services to a local client base - that we have to be very strict on payment for services. In other words: Late payment of an account degradates the services provided to all clients and this we consider to be unacceptable. If you wish to use a service where you can wait longer than the specified periods indicated on our invoices, you should consider using another provider.
We do not provide printed, snail mail reminders. We send out early reminders by email. As the due by date approaches we dispatch one further reminder for outstanding accounts. The next notification is likely to be the removal of a service.
Termination
When a service is not paid for by the due by date, we will remind you the client of your requirement to pay. In extreme measure we will terminate services which have exceeded the required date for payment. Should a service be terminated by ourselves due to a late payment, it can not simply be reinstated. In the case of domain name registration there is the added risk of loosing control of a domain name, domain name renewals are invoiced out on a proforma type invoice, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that payment is received before the due by date in order for the renewal of the domain name. Where web hosting is terminated by ourselves a set up fee will be charged to reinstate the web space. In extreme cases we may terminate an account altogether, in these circumstances we notify a client of the termination of account and services. Termination by the client, you can terminate any of the services provided at any time, however no refund can be made for any period following the notification of termination. Termination by the client must be provided in writing by the client. We require at least 14 days notice to turn off a web site. 30 days notice is required to turn off either email or web redirection.
